The Ella Roll-Up Sewing Kit is the perfect grab-and-go bag for all your hand sewing projects. It has two pockets for all the loose stuff, like thimbles, scissors, clips, and thread. The large flaps keep everything from falling out even when they're overstuffed. The divided center pocket is tall enough for a hera marker, pen, or seam ripper and the oversized flap will keep your extra needles and needle minder handy for easy access. 

You can choose between a long tie or elastic and button closure. Both allow for expansion of the sewing kit as it gets stuffed with all your favorite things. 

I've provided instructions for a basic fat quarter friendly version and a patchwork version, but the options are endless. You could consider using scraps, orphaned quilt blocks, or yardage in your favorite prints or solids.

The kit would look adorable with some special hand stitching or embroidery. Use your imagination! I can't wait to see what you make.

Suggested Fabric Types

Quilting weight cotton, linen/linen blend, light denim, light cotton canvas, or light corduroy. I would not suggest anything too stiff or thick. It will be difficult to turn the kit right side out.

Fabric Requirements: FQ Version

• Main Fabric: 1 FQ
• Accent Fabric 1: 1 FQ
• Accent Fabric 2: 1 FQ
• Accent Fabric 3: 1 FQ

*Consider purchasing additional fabric if you like to have extra in case of miscues, you're using direction prints, or if you prewash your fabric, to account for shrinkage.

• Accent Fabric 2: 1 FQ
