The Folk Fables Quilt is a block-based, beginner friendly, fat quarter- and scrap-friendly pattern that’s quick to sew and deeply personal to make. It uses simple strip piecing in a clean, modern, and cozy layout that invites storytelling. With five size options (baby, throw, twin, queen, and king), it's a design you'll return to again and again.
Folk Fables invites you to use treasured scraps from beloved past projects, that special stash passed down from someone you love, a curated bundle you’ve been saving for the perfect quilt, or an eclectic mix full of texture and heart. Best of all, there are no tiny pieces—your fabrics stay recognizable, and the details worth savoring remain intact.
I chose woven fabrics for the cover quilt in memory of my grandma, Pansy Violet Rose.
