• Do not prewash wovens for use in quilting
• Press and starch before cutting
• Use a new rotary cutter blade
• Handle edges a little more carefully than regular quilting cotton
• Use a shorter stitch length (~1.8 mm)
• Wash quilts on cold and use a color catcher
